OK, I'm a responsible adult, I ALWAYS wear my seatbelt. Is there a way to disable that annoyance? Thanks.
When I replace my CM monitor that's the dash with the speedometer gas gauge and transmission selector there's a speaker on the back of the CM monitor that controls most of all the beeping in the car when I remove that speaker off the back of the board I just pull it off it's a little piezo electric thing there's two pins sticking up that drive that driver I just pull it off and throw it in the trash and bend the two wires sticking up over but don't touch them to the board I just bend them over a little looks neater and then assemble the CM monitor display and put it in now you have no beeps of any kind ever at all so when your brakes go bad you have to know what your lights are telling you and of course you'll know what your foot is not feeling but you won't have that annoying beep all the way down the road telling you that the pump is not maintaining pressure and all of that I'm not sure that you can turn the seat belt buzzer off with any software. But yesterday when I was disassembling an '09 to get the heater motors out of the heater box on the side thereof I noticed there's a little buzzer staring at my foot when it's on the gas pedal another little speaker and a white enclosure It's maybe a half inch by half inch by 5/8 deep It's white it looks like it goes with the boxes that have to do with the SKS system and the alarm that are behind the cup holder on the rear of the console or the one that's in the trunk next to the relays on the hybrid battery but down lower on the trunk floor before the spare tire well those are all white with magenta reddish writing on them and they all have megahertz frequencies written on them so they have something to do with the SKS the alarm. So I'm guessing that little beeper has nothing to do with seat belts or anything serious that must have to do with alarm business but that's just the gas I have to pull it off get the number off of it and look it up in the repair manual parts fish something.
As i answered in your other thread about the reverse beep, you can disable the seatbelt beep. Youtube has instructional videos.
Does it work is my question I tried a bunch of those things not the seat belt I couldn't get off the reverse beep Yes in my 07 on the back of the CM monitor I just pulled the speaker off I have no noise in the car at all in this unit for over a year now It's dead quiet You open the door you have to look for the door open universal symbol and whatever there will be no beeping arming the alarm no beeping unlocking the car from a distance no beeping no light flashing that sort of thing but that's good that there's such a thing like I couldn't make any of the more like that same with making the CM monitor come on by holding the whatever button starting the car and then pushing something on the steering wheel or the mode button again nada moving the ground wire in the back of the car under the headlight would put the door open sign on and then I would have a display till I put the car in park and let it go to full sleep then the CM monitor might not fire back up so I just put a piece of cardboard in the hatch when I went in at night come out in the morning and pull it and go dash stayed on for 4 years
Yes it worked in my 2004 and 2005. No more beeping. It just beeps one time when you first switch into reverse.
