As the title states, I noticed a cut wire hanging underneath the front bumper on the drivers side. Car functioned fine but I found that the horn no longer worked. There’s a couple of what looks like sensors upstream in the wiring harness from the cut wires. One is the outside temp sensor but I don’t know what the other is. I just want to make sure that the two cut wires are for the horns before I do anything else. I’ve attached a couple of pictures for reference. Thanks in advance 38489851-0C91-4A31-B490-B929650F666F.jpeg 6A4B0134-5FD6-48AE-B1B9-4532026600E1.jpeg

Yeah you're on the right track One of the things you're holding in your hand plugs in in the bar that goes from the upper core support to the lower core supporter runs down the middle of the radiator plugs in right on the oval hole that opaque plastic plug you have that's the outdoor temperature sensor It's for your air conditioning and for your telling you what the temperature is and all that sort of thing. The other two slide on connector should go to your horn which should be about 14 in above where you just put that temperature sensor back did this car have an accident or how did these wires wind up with their opaque clips pulled off of their places where they go kind of weird.

Yeah the car has a rebuilt title so a lot of the clips are broken. Are you saying that the gray piece I’m holding in the second picture connects to the horn or would one of the cut pieces of wire have connected to the horn?

Have you checked to see if you still have your catalytic converter?

The central pillar was on another car. :)
    Photo for general understanding.

You can always check the features of your car yourself by unscrewing several fasteners.

Well I was just talking about for when he reaches his hand down there to put the little opaque oval shaped connector into the oval shaped hole for the sensor well the piece the pipe or the support would be there I'm just letting him know that in this picture the support is not there so when his mind goes hey where's that piece that the thing plugs into but yes I get the picture is as is got it perfect.

The wiring diagram shows the horn(s) are fed by a single black wire.

Yep the three wires brown white and black come off the center of the tab off the aluminum part of the inner bumper structure The white and the brown go down to the temp sensor and the black goes to the horn I had to rewire this nonsense on another car that got hit in the front end
