I picked up a Blitz strut tower bar for my '24 Ltd, but it seems different from the one last report here. Anyone have insight into the compatibility difference the models?
I also see modified Toyota parts is selling the Tanabe strut tower bar that was noted to not be compatible with US models previously. It doesn't make a note of this on the sales page. Wondering if something's change since?

Confirming the 96125 from Japan has the exact same issue with the brake fluid reservoir as the Tanabe version. They moved the brake assembly to the left, but they didn't invert the design of the reservoir, which is what these were designed around. It's asymmetrical.

Curious what model modified Toyota parts.com has that avoids this issue.

I'm going with all underneath stabilizers

So the full sway bar and chassis brace setup? Aside from dampeners are there other parts to add?

That can be a big rabbit hole to go down. I'm keeping it simple not intendeing to track...lol
But to answer your question, no.

I'm just trying to reduce my under steer and roll for daily driving. Not even doing springs because I like the stock ride height.

Same. Not lowering as I live in the CO mtns and the ride height is barely acceptable.
Better rear sway bar will get you mostly there, add an underneath stabalizer in the front and I think you'll be happy

I found the correct strut bar model to use and it should be here tomorrow. Also confirmed which one modified Toyota parts provided, which is nearly identical. Will report back once I try to install it!

I'm officially marking myself a casualty of exploration. My strut bar fits perfectly, but because it's not designed for specifically the Prius, the cowl issues seem worse than modified Toyota parts' unit. I had to do severe modification to my cowl to make it close decently and I still think it's not closing properly
If the one they sell clears the cowl better than this I fully suggest buying their unit over this one.
    Extra note:
2 strut bolts per side has a washer. Remove washers to allow proper fitment.

Do you have a list you're considering for rear sway bar and stabilizer in the front? I remember talks about getting a thicker sway bar front/back but not sure if anyone ever found one. I'd be interested in a similar upgrade.

I'm running the Blitz 96121 strut tower on the front, which is similar to the 96116 sold by Modified Toyota parts.
For the sway bar, I went with the Cusco rear sway bar (# 1A7-311-B26) only. It's the same thickness, but is solid cord and weighs at least 50% more when I handled each in my hand. There's definitely a difference going from the stock hollow core sway bar to this one. Per Cusco, it's a 42% increase in rigidity.

I decided to not install my front sway bar to avoid possibly increasing understeer.

When it was just the strut tower bar, it had a very engaging sharp turn that felt like the front was leading. This left you feeling the rear of the car lagging behind.

The result of this pairing is the soft and controlled understeer and roll from the factory configuration of my Limited edition is replaced by concise and level turns with minimal roll on normal turns. Even when pushing it on a turn, the rubber gives before the suspension. You get a little leaning on sharp turns, but nothing indicating you're actually rolling. The feel on turns reminds me of a factory sports car's suspension but softer. While this isn't as thrilling as with just the strut tower bar, you can tell it's a much better setup.

I'm planning to get the Cusco front chassis brace down the road to possibly bring the turning feel back to the front more.

For cross platform part sourcing, you can look up the TNGA-C platform. The Gen 5 prius is built on the Gen 2 TNGA-C, so other cars on this platform will maximize cross compatibility. This is where I sourced the strut tower bar from; a C-HR built on the Gen 1 TNGA-C platform.
