Hi all a while ago I messed around with my ABS module to try and fix it but I only ended up breaking the electrical motor. The car drove around for about 100 miles then the ABS overheated because I didn't solder things correctly. So I just removed the ABS motor already together. The issue is that now the car no longer goes into READY mode and throws a check hybrid system. One of the 30 AMP fuse also keeps blowing. I'm trying to pin point if theres a short or if I reinstall a new ABS motor, if it will start or if its some other issue. If there's a short, how would I find it? I looked on the wires and couldn't find any damaged wires.
if it started right after you removed the motor, that's likely it. i suppose you could read the trouble codes to be sure
There is nothing specific in what you are saying. Some fuse blows. What number, in which block? When is the fuse blown, during fuse replacement, during car start-up, after the "Ready" message appears? Considering your message about incorrect soldering, you could also have mixed up the power supply of the positive and negative contacts and supplied reversed 12V voltage to other systems, thereby creating a malfunction in other blocks.
I think it is the motor. The brushing I soldered back on burnt up and the windings are toasted. I don't remember exactly which fuse it was but it was a 30amp fuse that keep blowing whenever I tried starting the car with the abs block still installed. I removed the abs motor and then it stop blowing the fuses. So I think its the electric motor that was causing the fuse to blow. When I soldered the brushing back, I didn't do a good job which caused it to be loose and burn up. I think the entire windings is shorted.

I think its pretty much the same thing between the prius and highlander hybrid. The main difference is the sizing of the components.
Then you can take any similar car, why Prius? From the 30A fuse, the wire goes directly to the Skid Control ECU with Actuator. If the fuse blows, then the Skid Control ECU with Actuator is faulty.
