Lately, we have found USPS letter delivery unreliable ad they concentrate on (Amazon) packages.

 

When I left active duty in the early 90's, the same dude that invented the internet was DODGE before anyone knew who Musk was or even used PayPal.
Dot.gov laid off a BUNCH of people and instituted a hiring freeze.
I tried to get a job with the USPS since owing to my military service they were supposed to give me a hiring preference.
They laughed me out of the office, saying that I had no (purple) hearts or (silver) stars so I had no chance. They would schedule me for the next test (because they were required to by law) and they would call me when it was time to come in.
Never got called.....
SO....I was a contractor for Uncle for 7 years until I took a bunch of tests for Big Bell - and after a six month wait I took a $2/hr pay cut to begin at the bottom as a temp - and never looked back.

Now?
The USPS is BEGGING for people to come work for them!
You see "Now Hiring!" stickers on all the trucks and I see a different person tearing through my neighborhood every other day.
THE ONLY REASON I still get (all junk) mail at my house is that I cannot remove the mailbox in my neighborhood since it's part of one of those goofy 8-packs that they put in now.
I removed the mailbox at my last house 5 years before I moved into town and there's STILL not a mailbox at that address.

I have a PO Box that I use as sparingly as possible and we STILL have items miss boxed.
Regularly.

Duct tape won't with with those goofy neighborhood appliances since the USPS "worker" opens the street-side door in order to miss box your mail.
If I disable that then I might probably be guilty of a felony AND I would deprive my neighbors of having THEIR letters and parcels miss-handled.

 

....aaaaaand 3 out of 4 people are roughly 75%.....
