Recently bought a Japanese imported Toyota Aqua 2019, and I'm pretty please with it. Stoked actually. Lane assist, crash prevention, and an interesting feature where she yells at ya if the car in front of pulls away but you don't react in time... I've also discovered that the wiring is there for Cruize control and all it needed was the steering wheel post be installed for it to work. That installed Cruize control works. Alas, not adaptive, which I've worked out is due to it not having a mm Radar unit. Is it possible to install the mm Radar unit into these vechiles to enable Adaptace Cruize Control?
You need to study the electrical diagrams of the Aqua 2019 with radar and cruise control. The car is similar to the Prius C, but there may be differences in the electrical diagrams. You need to download the diagrams and determine the missing equipment and the presence of electrical wiring for these systems. This can be done on the Toyota website Toyota Service Information and Where To Find It | PriusChat
Thanks MAX2, Will have a look. From what I know gazoo is only available in Japan (Requires a 2-step japanese mobile verification) and the Australia/New Zealand sites are restricted as well (AASRA) Will update if I get any information.
