If you use the "@" symbol immediately prior to Mr(s). Ape's name (like THIS @Tha_Ape ) it will alert this person that they have been 'mentioned' in a post - increasing your chances of getting a reply.

 

Used one run around a thousand on eBay.

Thanks @captqc was just wondering that after I spend that much on an aftermarket one if there's any digital security locks or anything preventing me from just doing a swap in. Just want to work out any potential road bumps before blowing a grand and then finding out I'll need any special services on top of that.

I did the swap to add Apple CarPlay to my 2018 Prime. I didn’t have to do any sort of programming and didn’t run into any sort of theft lock etc. Just had to swap my sd card from the bottom of the unit to the new one.
