    Greetings,

    2008 - 279,000

Recently replaced the AC evaporator and had refrigerant and compressor oil added to the system. After running the AC for awhile I noticed ice on the lines by the compressor in the engine compartment. AC is now blowing cool air, but not cold air.

    Bad compressor?

Currenly defrosting. Mechanic checked psi and said system was running finne when they added refrigerant and compressor oil. I do not have my gauges with me to xheck psi.

Ts of moisture in system this is what vacuuming eliminates . Why it's done . Might need receiver desiccant replaced if you live with AC on for years .
