I just aquired a 2011 Prius. What brand of Cat cover should I get. And what type of material should I get Aluminium or Stainless steel
Just buy the cheapest one and use larger stronger rivets on install... The shield is only meant as deterrent, as in it takes them longer to steal it and they'll move on to an easier car. Another reason to buy the cheapest one is the cat theft epidemic peaked a couple years ago and has been declining ever since.
I went with the Miller shield, stainless steel. They are meant as a deterrent but since I live in Los Angeles where thefts are pretty bad I want to mitigate it as much as possible and steel is more difficult to cut through. Millers are higher rated verses the others, I think-- haven't looked in a long time, so that went into my choice as well.
