Hello, I have three problems, and they all seem related to each other. 1. When I press the buttons on the steering wheel, the wrong ones light up on the screen. For example, if I press the volume up (+) button, the trip button lights up. 2. The City EV and Eco Mode buttons on the center console don't work. 3. The battery status on the upper display (under the windshield) constantly shows one bar, even when fully charged. The hybrid works properly, consumes low fuel, and is a pleasant drive, even on electric power. Has anyone had this problem and can help me?
i haven't seen this before. are there any trouble lights on? the steering issue might be the clock spring, but idk if it would affect the other two issues. sometimes, rodents chew on wires, and sometimes, ecu pins corrode inside the connectors. both would be very intense trouble shooting using the wiring schematic available at toyota technical services website. i would post this again in the gen 3 forum, no one watches this forum anymore.
Thanks for reply. There are no errors/icons on the display. Unfortunately, I can't log into Toyota without an account to download the technical specifications for the cables. In the hidden menu, I see that there were errors from the past in the memory. I'm attaching preview photos. A mechanic friend also checked on his computer, and the error history shows the errors, which I've included in the attachment. There are no current errors. I don't know what to do about it...
I'm sorry, but I don't understand the question. The display under the windshield shows the current battery level and nothing changes, even when I charge it to 100%. However, the display on the center console shows the correct battery level.
