Hi Prius Enthusiasts, I disassembled the rear passengers section for battery replacement etc. Weeks later I cant recall where this white duct attaches. Anyone out there know and have a picture or diagram?
Is this a Gen2 Prius? Or a newer Prius? The battery duct work in a Gen2 Prius is black not white and this part doesn't look like anything I've seen inside a Gen2 (2004-2009) Prius?
Yes Gen2 2007 I do see the black battery duct work in there too. Somewhere in that vicinity this white duct was connected.
That looks like it splits from one large flow into 3 small ones. That suggests something HVAC related. The ducting for the the HV battery is just one big tube (in various cross section shapes) all the way from the air intake on the passenger side of the rear seat until it blows out the vent above the 12V battery. Edit: inspect the part carefully. It might have its OEM part number stamped on it somewhere.
Has the dashboard ever been apart? This picture in this post, of the underside of the dash on the driver's side resembles the 3 outlet ports on the piece shown: Trying to identify white plastic part that came off | PriusChat Maybe 87201B in the diagram here: https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/toyota-usa/prius/NHW20L/8936/electric/8715
Maybe not always? Funny thing is, OP just removed this piece, just can’t remember from where… time for a hypnotist? or just pull it all apart again, see where it fits?
