My wife refuses to drive my Prius because, she says, "it keeps screaming at me and slamming on the brakes when I try to put it in the garage". I trust her to get it in without damage (she manages fine with her Sienna) but it would be nice to have a single-button "turn off TSS nannies". Does this exist? (I know I can go through menus to turn all those things off, but she isn't interested in following a procedure of several dozen button-presses just to feel comfortable about parking the car.)
You can use the carista obd2 adapter and app to alter the warning distance for the parking sensors. I think by default they have a long distance setting but you can shorten it. Realistically though your wife needs to be a better driver and train herself on how far the car is from things when certain distance warnings are playing. Warning plays, she needs to put it in park, get out, and see just how far she is from an obstacle or wall. She needs to remember that. Then get back in, move closer, warning changes, get out, see what that one means. Is it annoying? Yes. Will she be a better and more aware driver once she understands which warnings indicate what distance she is from things? Absolutely.
