Hi Everyone - I've got the original battery or fuel cell. I've driven this car very easy for 18 years. I hate to part with it ..... so looking for experienced insights from you all .... computer dash has many lights on .... mechanics say its fine, just an old computer. I'm thinking I should sell it???? do you think I should put $$ into a new battery and dash computer?? Thanks in advance for your wisdom.

Dash lights log error codes. Once we know your error codes we can offer more advice. Also cars with that many miles don't sell for much money. However if you bought a new OEM or Sodium-Ion battery when your '08 engine finally fails you can use that battery pack in your next Prius all the way up to the 2015 model year. And if you do go this route you'll be searching for a mint condition low mileage Prius 2004-2015 that has dead 12v and dead hybrid battery and thus will be for sale for cheap. As in Prius that aren't driven often enough will have a hybrid battery and 12v that goes bad and there's some really nice dead Prius out there if you ask around often enough.
