Brake light got me a ticket

    Hi I have a 2004 Toyota Prius. Love the car it's got 286 on it. I had a problem with the right rear brake light working sometimes and not other times so I replace this little circuit board thing that's in the headlight housing and it seemed to have fixed it It was good for a while and now it's doing it again. On my birthday this really nice, young, not shaving yet sheriff gave me a ticket for my tail light being out. What a jerk
    It's not something I can tell is going on when I'm driving so I need to be able to trust it ....any ideas?

    Tail light housing you don't say what country city state you're in go to court tell the judges is a known issue you can't see it from sitting in the car the other two tail lights including the third eye allrlsr on car works perfectly your honor a fix it ticket seems more appropriate your honor don't you think?

    It might just be a fix-it ticket that shows a fine; if not repaired within 30-60 days. Fix-it tickets ensures compliance; kinda like some people I know that has a glove box full of parking tickets and was surprised there was a boot on her car one day. o_O:(:rolleyes::sleep:

    Follow your wires back and look for a dirty or intermittent ground - more than likely your issue. Especially true if that car was a former mouse house.
