I think I've got it but I have to run to the bank. So it will take me an hour to get back to verify. It someone else finds it claim it in the meantime.
I found it too, but since I don't know anything about love or hookers (in this case) or laws passed, or whether the arrow is indicating the particular spot on the ground or is just where it came to rest by naming the burg, I'll have to bow out and let someone with all the required knowledge collect the reward money. It is the Love Canal near Niagara Falls, NY. The toxic chemical waste site. http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&ll=43.081615,-78.950372&spn=0.015359,0.031028&t=k&z=15&om=0 The name Love Canal came from the last name of William T. Love. The "hooker" connection is form Hooker Chemical and Plastics Corporation. Good link on history http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_Canal I'll post in a moment
I'd love to join you, guys, but I'm finding these pictures impossibly small. I'm also having trouble posting images and accessing already-posted images. I've let my feelings be known on the 'complaints and kudos' thread, but I'm sure there are more important issues to be addressed first. If one of the google gang would be so kind as to let me know when things are fixed, I'll come back to play.
I'm not sure why the images are so small...I checked the admin stuff and it looks like there's no limit to the dimensions and a very generous maximum file size. Danny's pretty busy with a lot of other issues, but hopefully he can get it fixed. Remember you can post the images at a hosting site and link it here and it will show up full size (I think).
Bonus points for correctly guessing the name of the big building in the middle. Here's a bigger pic: (It's imageshack, so you have to click on it.)
sign up at imageshack or flickr or any of a number of other image hosting sites and they tell you how to upload the image. Then you grab the url there, click on the and paste that URL into that window.

This area was a former town and now houses a 419 acre (1.7 km²) state park commemorating Rt 66 that passed by this former community. The story of this former community was recently featured on the History Channel's Modern Marvels, Engineering Disasters.

Looks like a nice bridge. Is it finished yet. Looks like asia to me, although I could be wrong. Also, the post over the river looks taller then the other posts. Could have a cable stay section? Hot or Cold?
