When my headlights are on and the touch screen is dim, I "thought" that selecting "Day Mode" would put it back to full bright, but it has no effect at all; the screen stays dimmed. Does anyone else have this issue with a 2008, or are there any known work arounds? Or perhaps am I misunderstanding the use of Day Mode?
The little dash light dimmer on the left side of the steering column. Push it all the way up and it will brighten up your day...I'm not dimmin' you. Figured this out yesterday. Dave
You are correct about the thumbwheel, thank you very much. But isn't the "Day Mode" option supposed to do the same thing?
The day mode switches the MFD back to day colors, and as I recall, restores the brightness of the display. I don't recall if it has any affect on the speedo VFD display or button back-lights. Tom
