Does anyone find this ad a little disturbing? I just wonder if it is me that needs help or Woolworths ad writers are really that ignorant. Sorry the link can't be posted into the forum, please copy and past into address window of IE.
Don't know what you think is wrong with this ad. My family love the ad - trying to get kids to eat healthy. Mind you, my wife buys 2Kg of grapes during the day and they are all gone by the time I get home - I think the kids just breathe them in. In fact, fruit does not last long around home at any time. We are all for kids eating healthy food rather than junk.
And so am I, anything to get kids to eat good food. If you can't see it maybe it's just me. I won't reveal my thought just yet, see what people come up with. If the you tube screen goes black for you click the link on the top of the you tube screen
I could see how that ad could be ...shall we say...interpreted in various ways. So no Pats - it's not just you.
The ad didn't disturb me. But almost 4.5 pounds of grapes a day...how many kids do you have? Reminds me of a kid we hospitalized for morbid obesity and hypertension a couple of years ago. Mom was bringing him two pounds of grapes a day. Defeating the diet. Now he is a morbidly obese teenager...with hypertension and diabetes.
