My grocery store brand is Edy's Slow Churned Triple Chocolate (no sugar added). Non-grocer is Baskin-Robbins Maui Brownie Madness.
Turtle mountain... the links are to their website. Available at Top Foods, Safeway, and other large supermarkets... and health food stores...
Lappert's Ice Cream and Coffee Their version of Rocky Road, I believe its called "Hana Road" is the best Ive ever had. But you probably have to go to Hawaii or California to find it.Even there its not easy to find.
Albertson's Mint n' Chip is the best of all. It's is like a Silver Pine Mica color, with chocolate chips added.
Peanut butter and chocolate - especially the Safeway brand from a few years back (but no longer made - alas)
31 Flavor's "Mandarin Chocolate Sherbet" Don't bother looking for it. They haven't made it in years. But...its still my favorite. Dark rich chocolate with a hint of mandarin oranges in a smooth sherbet. Heavenly. It looked almost black.
Häagen-Dazs Rum Raisin is up there. My favorite is actually freshly made sweet cream ice cream. No flavoring required.
Home icecream vanilla. I just discovered it, I hate their other icecreams but the vanilla is excellent. I have no idea what is in it, please don't tell me.

I don't like ice cream much. I don't like extremely cold food. I like chocolate and mocha flavors, melted.
A place local to me, Lizzy's, makes all their ice cream, and it makes the best mass-marketed ice cream taste like cardboard. My two favorites of their flavors are Peanut Butter Cup and Mint Oreo.
+1 on Lapperts, especially the Macadamia Nut (vanilla) flavor with WHOLE MACADAMIA NUTS. I used to get it with an Ono Burger (before it burned down) after a hard (!) day of tennis and snorkeling on Kauai.
I'll have to try that. Their web site says it's sold in the mega-grocery store near me that I seldom shop at (because it's too big and too crowded: I'd rather pay a bit more at a store with shorter check-out lines). I cannot digest lactose. I sometimes eat non-fat chocolate frozen yogurt. There's only one brand available at any store within 15 miles of me. It's not great but it's good. Other brands (encountered when traveling) are better. I also like chocolate Tofutti Cutie sandwiches.
Except for Cherry Garcia, but mostly Vermonty Python and Chunky Monkey. Together. YUMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any flavor of a well made Italian gelato --- IMO the temp and density are just right, and the flavors just explode in your mouth.
Plainwell Dairy (Plainwell, Michigan) makes a pineapple orange that can't be beat. Also good is Breyer's Black Cherry Vanilla. I don't recall ever having a "bad" icecream. Rotorhead
