Wow, that was fast! I thought they were in Fort Worth? I would have gone to see them when I went to see the Mustangs of Colinas if I knew they were so close together -- I made a special trip to see the Mustangs after hearing about them for many years while living in different states. Someone gave me a picture that sat on my desk at work and anyone that had heard of them would tell me how beautiful the statues were. The interesting thing about the Mustangs is they are prettier in pictures than in person! The reason is water fountains placed where the horses hooves strike the water. In pictures it looks like these metal equines are running through the water and the water is flying up as if they were actually alive and running through the water. Probably not the same effect with the cattle.
A couple "Firsts" lived here. BTW, I didn't think that aircraft would be in satellite pictures because of the big-sky-little-bullet theory.
I haven't driven past Palm Springs since 1997 but I remember those wind turbines in San Gorginio Pass. Awesome to watch. Please don't think this was an easy one -- Naptownprius picked the only wind farm I drove past in the last 20 years... San Gorgonio Pass, ca - Google Maps
I know where it is but I'll let someone else get this one since I've gotten lucky for quite a few lately.
