Trolling, I have my reasons and situations, youay just be jealous .... No? And yes to ME any car that can't do more than 300 miles on a tank or a charge is just DUMB, take it how ever you all want to Peace
I'm not jealous. I've had fast cars, money and women. Material wealth does not interest me like it once did. In fact I find it rather amusing now. There is so much more to life Coi, don't sweat opinions. Have a great night.
comment was not addressed to you bro, u never called me out, just wished people that "deal it" can also "accept it" not everybody is a good sport, and take this FORUM thing wayyyyy toooooo seriously, that i do laugh about! HAHAHAHA its all good ill go "troll" somewhere else, whatever the heck that means LOL
No, quite the opposite really, though if it makes you feel better to think that I am jealous, yay! Troll (Internet) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
300 miles in a day isn't too hard to do. I've driven from places in California to Miami, FL four times already, and it takes me 5 days to drive it, that's 500 to 600 miles a day, one driver. Asking for a 300 miles range is not much from a non-urban car. I think EV cars will stay limited to urban settings for a while, but I would love to see the day when major highway hotels (DaysInn, Motel 8, etc) have EV fast charge hook ups. Get a room and a "fuel" hook up for the night. That and at least a 400 to 500 mile range will be the only thing that will make EVs really flourish in America and other places where people drive long distances.
I wasn't taking anything personally but perhaps you could have just said, the Tesla doesn't suit any of my driving needs rather than it is dumb.
The EV at present is not a car for long road trips. Maybe ultra caps will some day give EVs a 500 mile range. Then you won't need fast charging. If you spend 8 hours at a hotel (supper and sleep) a regular charger will get you a fill-up. Fast charging would allow a 250-mile car to make road trips: 10 or 15 minutes to fill while you go to the bathroom, have a snack or a cup of coffee, and stretch your legs. There are batteries today that can accept fast charging, but the chargers are not available, and nobody has the electrical service capable of delivering the wattage for a fast charge. My best guess is that we'll have 500-mile EVs that charge overnight before we have the infrastructure for fast charging. In the mean time, EVs are the perfect solution for people who drive under 100 miles a day or who have a second car anyway and can use that for road trips. And if Kandi was suggesting that I was jealous, nope. I'm not jealous of anyone who is stuck driving on gasoline. I'm envious as hell of the folks who have their Teslas or their electric Porsches, but with luck I'll have one some day, and in the mean time, my Xebra, for all its (many) shortcomings, is the most satisfying car I've ever driven. And even with only 35 miles of range it's all the car I need 27 days out of 30.
things ive posted was NOT off topic, where did you get that notion? as i recall im the only one who posted "specs and pictures", others automatically attacked me just because the 220mile range doesnt suit me and yes maybe i could HAVE said "it doesnt suit my needs" but i have my OWN way of expressing my feelings about different things, so i dont regret calling it dumb at all, people attacked me by saying dumb before they even knew why i said it...that just envokes drama, and that was a major TROLL move on the other hand, all my posts where pretty much ON topic to get back on the subject TESLAs are sold out til their next run/batch of cars, sometime next year, and like i said before if it would have more RANGE i would love to own one
