Maintenance req light...

    So I've noticed that the Maint req light is starting to blink as we reach the 5000k mark. So here is the question.

    If I reset it after the 5000k, will it start again right before the 10000k or will it start 5000 miles after it was reset?

    The light blinks at 4500 miles and a message comes on the screen when you start. At 5000 miles the light stays on. This repeats 4500 miles after the light is reset.

    So if I reset the light at 7000 miles, Will the light start to blink at 11500 miles?

    Correct. Think of the light as a mileage "counter" that blinks 4500 miles after it was last reset (and stays on steady 5000 miles after it was last reset).
