Fuel efficiency (speed limit) bumper stickers

    I have been thinking about getting something for those guys stuck behind me while I drive the speed limit to look at or read. So, perhaps communicating with them as to WHY I'm driving 'slow' (slow as in the speed limit or just below).

    So, with that in mind, I found a couple of bumper sticker (sites) that have some good one. Now, I'm not doing any sort of pro-green, anti-whomever, political slant here.

    Just bumper stickers advocating or explaining my reduced speed.

    I'm constantly thinking of bumper stickers though I'd never put one on my car. I was nervous when I put the Petrocide decal in the back window.

    can u put the word nice person on a bumper sticker, if so, that would be great!!!

    i have a die cut sticker machine at home and i can totally make these stickers hahahaha

    That's one of the reasons I doubt I would have one. I don't see messages on cars changing most people's minds. For example, what is your response when you see a political bumper sticker for the "other" party's candidate (whichever party that may be)? It's a bit "in your face" that, IMHO, could more likely antagonize those predisposed to vandalism, tailgating, or road rage.

    My intent with looking for a bumper sticker was NOT to persuade but to inform.

    That is, they might ask "why is that guy driving so slow (speed limit)?"
    Then read "Driving speed limit to save gas"
    and think "oh, I guess I can pass him. He doesn't need any help"
    :)

    Oh, and I just passed another Prius Gen 1 for the first time this morning. Poor girl, she was doing like 50 mph. I was doing 54. lol

    last night, i got passed by classic silver g2 in my g2 touring, i was going 70mph, they musta been going at least 75mph

    weird because PC members tell me to slow down at 75mph, once i did that i get passed by another prii doing 75mph lol

    Isn't the harsh reality more like:

    they might ask "Why is that guy driving so slow (speed limit)?"
    Then read "Driving speed limit to save gas"
    and think "Stupid jerk, get out of the way, ride a bicycle or something, okkkaaaaaayyy? Hurry up and pass this grand dad"
    and in passing you, "Oh gawd, not another Prius driver, sheesh, they're multiplying like rabbits I tell you, look at that stupid grin..!!"

    I'd personally stay away from these type of bumper stickers. People are already pissed off at the pump. They don't need a "reminder" that they can't pay the rent because the price to commute to work has doubled in the past year. As comical as these may be, I believe you'd be coming off as smug... which isn't a good thing.

    I am trying my best to recall the stickers post men used in the private
    cars when delivering mail.. but it is simply not coming to me.

    It was a very polite way to say this car drives slow/safe. Argh.

    Also i remember one a handicap person used that was very honest and
    considerate.

    My memory just ain't what it used to be. Let me try googling it and if I find
    out what they are I will update this post.

    lol. check out this site i googled up in an attempt to find the ones I am thinking
    of that have tons less attitude.
