Anyone read up on these all electric vehicles? Apparently of Ford heritage but now owned and manufactured in Norway. These really look decent. I for one, am very interested. They have a rep established here in the U.S. but are not ready for U.S. debut yet. Anyway, take a gander here. Please pass on your thoughts! PS- They are also making the Th!nk City.
I will take a Th!nk Open in yellow please. I can have my convertible and 0 emissions at the same time
I would love one. If they were available in the US I would buy one. If there are no others available (such as Tesla's sedan) when they do arrive, I will be buying one
I kind of like them. I know that there are tons of people who will look at them and tell you that they can't be safe or that a Hummer would squash them like a bug. Whatever. I like them and I think that for city driving and the regular commute they're perfect. OK, I just finished watching the THiNK Ox film: http://www.think.no/think/Press-Pictures/Picture-gallery/Movies/TH!NK-Ox-film Yeah, I want one.
ok some of the features are a little ahead of its time (like V2G) but others are plausible The connected car / TH!NK Ox / Models & Concepts / Home - Think I also like the "DNA" key. Gives the car a personal touch.
I think it would be great to take the connected Th!nk a step further... Let's say we are both out and about on the town and wanted to meet. I could send my position to my friend's Th!nk and vice versa. Kinda cool way to social network using the car. Then we could both find a mutually agreeable meeting spot or whatever. Unless of course the car already does this!
Yeah I saw those several months ago. They are going to have a model that does 250 miles on a charge. As soon as I can buy a decent sized car (at least as big as my Prius) that gets that kind of range I will dump my Prius and the ICE for good. (I'll still need a truck to move my cows though) It is funny when we start having gas shortages you environmental guys and us survivalists are going to look real smart:usa2:
The Photoshopped NYC taxi is missing the hood medallion but I'm interested. Maybe they could change the name to "Viking" and partner with Hormel's SPAM.
ound: TomTom has this as the "TomTom Buddies" feature and something like that would be great. You can send text messages to your friends and then find a spot, send the spot to your other friend (who then can navigate there) and meet up! Definitely a neat feature.
280 mile range and charging to 80% capacity in an hour very promising. That's practical. Drive 280 miles then pull off to recharge at Starbucks.
2010 model year is going to be very interesting! It also goes to show that in adversity (the oil crunch), people find amazing alternatives. What is that again, "Necessity is the mother of invention"...? It is ALMOST a good thing that we had this crunch (although I can live without the huge gas bills, believe me. My wife still drives an Explorer... doht!)
