Happy Melbourne Cup day everyone! What a finish that was huh? Hey, I had some of that (XXXX) at lunch today when we we were watching the race (I lost the sweeps. Rats.) Surprisingly - not whole lot of roos and koalas hanging out in Robina, Burleigh Heads and Surfers Paradise! I saw a bunch of them at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary this past Sunday though. And emus! My gods those things are scary. They were wandering around the "Pettable Roo" area. It's a bit nerve wracking to turn around and find yourself staring straight into the the eyes of a huge bird that's silently come up behind you. I actually stopped by Adelaide the last time I was in Oz. Lovely, lovely city. Good chocolate! Didn't spend enough time there unfortunately. You can but you won't see it for another week at least. Unless Sam wants to start one. I'm stuck in a perpetual "Critical Deployment" phase. I'm probably going to end up surpassing my original stay in Oz of two years ago (which was some 30 odd days). At least my hotel's on the beach! Unless you say it with a charming Australian accent!
Isn't that spelt "Ekseksekseks"? After watching every episode of Kath and Kim (the OZ version) I would have to say that's poxymoronic.
