Hacking into Electronic Road Signs

Laughing? How do we know that this was actually a hack. I think the city accidentally triggered thier secreat Zombie Alert System but they don't want us know about the coming Zombie Apocalypse.

To quote a reply to the story:

"Nazi Zombies Run" that they posted on the traffic sign is from the video game: Call Of Duty World At War ..aka..COD5. It's a hidden / unlockable game within the game where you shoot Nazi Zombies that are trying to enter the building you occupy. :laser:

Of course, electronic road signs are about as "secure" as the SCADA network that controls our pipelines, municipal water distribution, wastewater, etc etc

I heard this on the radio this morning... it seems there will be fines and possibly even jail time for the pranksters, if they're caught!
