Re: Vehicle Technology Explained A lot of R&D monies went into these features. Too bad affordability has to be such an issue vs safety. I especially like the wipers moving a bit to prevent hardening, great feature for up north. Do you see flash memory with voice activated selection mated with the sound system for favorites? Great article. Very informative and good emphasis on safety features.

Re: Advanced Vehicle Technology Explained What exactly do you do? Notice you have a lot of tech articles. Would be nice if a lot of these avoidance and other safety features would become affordable. Could help save lives, not just occupants but could also keep people from hitting deer and what not. As for the flash drive, a person reads about some of these things and makes you wonder what next.
Re: Advanced Vehicle Technology Explained Nothing remotely close to computer science or cars. I hate circuitry and can't wire something to save my life. How do I know all this? I'm a car nut. Most car nuts love hp and 0-60 times, I love technology.
Re: Advanced Vehicle Technology Explained Once upon a time, I could tell you the year and make by looking at the grille or tail lights. Was a teenager during the muscle car area. Man there were some nice cars. Had a few my self. I really like my or should I say the wife's Prius. The tech worries me a bit as far as being spendy if something should happen. Have noticed here there are some warning signs and what not. I really like the site and so many of you here are great when it comes to helping others out.
Re: Advanced Vehicle Technology Explained haha... I'm in the transition stage now. I can still tell you which trim level and even the year on some models (mostly Japanese... when I had to "downsize" my allocated memory in the brain, the domestics were the first to go)
