Broke plastic hood release part

    I broke the tab on the piece when I took the bottom part of the dash off. I should have just left it on the piece and worked around it but too late now.
    The part number is 53601 and the dealer is wanting $50 for it. Anyone know a good used part site that might have the part? I'd rather not pay the dealer for it. I can still use it the way it is but I would rather replace the part.

    Check around with wreckers and other auto recycling places. Ebay??

    Parts.com has great prices for Genuine Totota parts. Some items were about 1/3 the price of my local dealer.

    They have the Prius hood release handle for $25.14.

    I just pulled my hood release lever and i broke it. my toyota dealer wants $65. did u end up finding one for cheap? thanks
