How do I remove seat bracket covers?

    Pic'd below are the covers over the driver's seat rear mount brackets. I've tugged on them a bit. Which way to pull them off? I don't want to break them.

    Thanks.

    I want to take the seat out to look at alternatives to get it to slide back farther.

    They have tabs that hold onto the bracket nearest the carpet. Just use your fingers to carefully spread out the cover and they pop right off.

    They are pretty tough plastic I doubt you can break them.

    Easy to break the tabs. Need to repair one.
