I have the stickers, but I never need to use them. If the premium is high enough, that might persuade me to trade it in for a new 2010.
Check on your local Craigslist.com - the ones that disappear get sold. The high priced ones / high mileage or low package ones stay around.
they're only good thru 12/31/10 so the "premium' is running out. prob $1K-2K max right now for someone like me who regularly commutes 80 miles each way (about 1.6 gallons). there's also proposed legislation that would delete them in October '09.
^bump Anyone have some current approximate figures or sold one themselves? The only reason why I ask is because I may have to move back to WA state due to my work, where the CA HOV stickers are obviously useless. I've been entertaining the thought of selling my 06 (package NL - has everything except leather; has 41K miles) and buying a 2010 Prius II or III before 7/31/09 in WA (when the sales tax exemption on up there runs out). I know for sure that what I can fetch will be several thousand short of 2010 Prius, but I just want a relative sense of the premium. I quickly looked at autotrader a bit but wasn't sure what to conclude. I also wonder if they might get a bigger premium in So Cal.
^ bump Hate to keep bumping threads but perhaps a dealer, seller or buyer of used Priuses in CA can comment?
