Has Anyone Successfully Modified Stopper on Seat Rails?

    When the driver's seat is placed fully back to the stop, then clicked in, I notice there 2 unused slots on the right.

    Has anyone modified the stopper mechanism to make use of the extra slot, or better yet, cut another slot in the left and gained 2 more clicks back on the stock seat rails?

    Before doing this mod, are there any sensors on the rails for the airbags?

    I looked for a stop mechanism while my seat out of car. Appears mechanism is inside the right rail.

    Anyhow, doesn't appear that the stop mechanism can be modified easily to make use of the extra slot in left rail.
