Such a deal! I got my '06 for a good deal - a friend at a Chevy dealer had picked it up at auction (one owner certified) and then the price of gas plummeted. He took a loss to sell it to me to get it off the lot after having it for 4 months. With the price of fuel down, Prius prices are sure reasonable. Welcome to Prius ownership! :welcome:
Congrats. Looks great. And you seemingly got it for several thousand dollars less than Kelly Blue Book. [EDIT: As Sandy said in another thread, she got a 2004 base with 58,000 miles in apparently excellent condition.]
Congrats Sandy!! Very nice!! My second home is just south of you in Leesburg. I've had no luck getting one up here in western NY, but will be down in Leesburg for a month starting this Saturday. I'm hoping I can find a nice Prius down there....... Did you see any other nice ones around?? Frank D.
I knew when i was at the dealer it was a good price as it was mint, not a ding in her. even if i did have to buy a 3K batt i would
I've got a 2006 with 45,000 miles that is looking for a home. Very well taken care of with lots of additions I'm not in Florida, but can meet you on the way down!
Thanks Danny for this good forum and the kind help. That is tempting, but I'm flying down there this time. One of the reasons I want to buy a new or newer Prius is that we want to start driving down.......airfare is cheap, but rental car prices have skyrocketed. Thanks! Frank D.
