TORONTO, May 1 - Spring is traditionally the busiest car-buying season in Canada, and as the market showed signs of restored confidence, Canadian drivers turned to Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) for quality, fuel efficiency, and value in April. TCI's sales of Toyota and Lexus cars, SUVs and trucks totalled 21,220 in April (off 16.6% from April 2008). This included 19,599 Toyotas sold during the month (off 17.9%, a stronger performance versus March 2009). Lexus also enjoyed its best-ever April, with 1,621 models sold (up 4%). Full Article
The RX has been the usual hit for Lexus. The new model is doing very well, however there are still some leftover 08s on lots.
Good time to snag a deal from Lexus then? The old RX, even though it's 6 model years old, still looks fantastic
Yes, a great time to buy a leftover 08. The new RX 450h is rated amazingly at 30 MPG and it now weighs 4500 lbs. The RX 400h is rated around 27 or so. I've driven both and they both are incredible. A used RX 400h is a steal, IMO. They are in the mid 20k range.
