About buying a new 2010, but after looking at all the pics, I dont like the body in the pics, I do love the interior but not worth it for that. I guess and wait till I see it in person
Sandy Haven't you just been through 3 cars in one month? No offense but.... maybe wait a bit and enjoy the one you just bought, and get teh new model next year when the kinks are worked out. Fernsmom
Nice thing about the new one coming out is those of us that thought the old one was just a little too funky looking but are warming up to the new one now can happily buy a Prius. Those of you that really like the old style get the opportunity of a lifetime in getting something you love at a greatly reduced price. The delima is for the people that like both, is it worth the extra or should you upgrade. Tough choice. Since many of you are technology geeks, it will be hard to pass up the latest technology just to save money, especially since to most purchasers the Prius is not really about saving money.
After going to the Prius Connection event in NYC this past February I've gotta say pictures just don't do the car its full justice. This especially holds true for the interior and the upper display/touch tracer etc.
There's just no accounting for taste, is there? I think the redesigned exterior is a huge step up in appearance. To me, the interior is OK, but not great. I think I really prefer the current interior, though I think I'll get used to the touch tracer, the EV button and the multi-informational display that is higher up and more in the line of sight. (I'm not a big fan of the console thingie.)
