    There is no 'spin on' oil filter. We unscrew a cap, replace the filter element, and screw the cap back on. The old filter can be disposed of 'by burning' if needed. This significantly reduces landfill and recycling costs associated with spin-on, oil filter cans. It is one reason we couldn't find it at Detroit.
