Hey Prius junkies- I have a few hard to find prius parts from a project I did a couple of years back. These parts have just been sitting in my garage and it's time for them to breathe! Does 'break' = Brake Pedal or entire brake assembly or a brake pad? Does 'gas' = accelerator pedal, pedal assembly, or gasoline? Similarly with the power button and shifter...are we talking about an entire assembly? Are they in working order, why have they been on your garage floor, how much are you selling for?
Excellent questions efusco! thanks for the reply. Yes all of these parts come with the entire assembly including the pedals on the brake & accelerator. The parts are all in working order and come as is. These parts have been kept in the padded box that they were originally shipped to me in and they have been stored in my garage for the past couple of years because they are spare parts and weren't actually used for my Prius, but rather for an interactive Prius test drive sort of thing. At one point these parts were connected to a computer that allowed you to learn some of the functions of the Prius in a more hands on way (i.e. if you were to move the shifter to "D" the monitor would show that you are now in drive mode and you could depress the accelerator pedal to speed up). As for the sale price I'm not exactly sure what these parts go for but if anyone out there needs or wants them we can come to a decision on a price. The parts come as is so I am thinking around 300 for the brake/accelerator and 150 for the shifter/power button. Let me know if you can find lower prices on the internet but after a bit of research I think these are probably more than fair prices.
