I have a 2008 Prius with the Bluetooth package. Currently I have a Motorola V9 and it works fantastically with the bluetooth. I'd like to upgrade to the iPhone 3GS, but I wanted to make sure that it would work with the system. I've heard that there were problems and I wanted to avoid any if they were present. TIA!
Audio should work fine (by that, I mean the mic and speakers while on a call). I know 3.0 added A2DP, but I don't think it will transfer your contacts from the phone.
My main concern is the bluetooth. I just want to be able to receive and make calls hands free. I manually programmed the phone numbers into the car, so no worries there.
Cool! Now I don't have all those restless fears about getting the phone. My prius has spoiled me rotten.
