The maintenance program of Toyota includes 24hr roadside assistance. Just wondering if it is any good. Any one here had to use it before? Do they outsource to other auto clubs? Just wondering how long it takes for help to arrive. Is it good enough to cancel my AAA membership?
You don't show where you live or how it's provided, since many dealers offer the package as part of new or certified used car sales, and, for one, Southeast Toyota Distributor, has it as part of the Toyoguard "Plus" protection package on some, but not all, new cars. Mine came with the SET package, the third Toyota I've had with it, I don't have AAA or others, and the SET Plus package also includes some trip interruption benefits. Like most insurance, I hope to not use it but they probably use most of the same parties to provide assistance as AAA and others use. Like AAA, there are no doubt horror stories that make the rounds (the same as Lexus and Mercedes horror stories when I had their benefits). I'd sure cancel AAA, just one opinion.
