I'm look at the possibility of having a spinal cord stimulator implanted. Is anyone here familiar with these devices. Any advice or first hand accounts would be appreciated. Thanks!
Of the patients I see who've had them, results seem to be mixed. That said, I may see a disproportionate number of patients where it hasn't worked b/c those in whom it does work well have no reason to come see me.
That makes sense. lol Thanks. What was the worst side-effect or reaction that you've seen? Also, I heard that you have to undergo a psych eval before getting one. Have you heard of any cases where people tried to rip them out, etc. Thanks again!
