That'll work. I do something similar with my stick clip when walking the approach trails, shuffling it along in front to see if anything will be bothered. No point surprising something having big sharp teeth. Tom
First job and introduction to Social Security withholdings. I went to OSU and we thought nothing about driving to OKC at midnight to get some more Coors and ride back ... five of us in a Model B roadster. But that is another story for a table of beer and pizza ... First date and movies "If", "Barbarella" and "The President's Analysts." And thus began a long series of "dates from Hell" but that is story for anther table of beers and something to gnash on. Theater in the Round? You know I tell folks that Oklahoma had every poisonous snake, plant, insect and critter that ever lived. It is too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter, and the only time the wind doesn't blow, it is time to hide in a hole. The water has too much natural floride that the John Bircher's had to shut-up. There was a reason the US Government moved all of the surviving native peoples to Oklahoma ... and then my ancestors stole the last of the native people's lands ... Yet curiously, this same harsh environment worked with those who also came with my ancestors just in time for the dust bowl and the Great Depression. Will Rogers, a half Cherokee Oklahoman, once said, 'All of the Okies moving to California is a good thing. It increases the average IQ of both states.' We'll chat about Huntsville another time ... away from Yankee eyes. Bob Wilson
Can you say the wild mouse? (rollercoaster) Aww come on I know you can. I remember when it closed. I was raised in Shawnee. Close but just far enough away. I remember actual stores and places to shop in downtown OKC. BC Clark is still a big deal here at Christmas. You may have seen the news a few months back about the wild fires here. many new housing editions in Choctaw are gone now from the grass fires. The housing building boom has been amazing here. It has slowed some this year but not completely and not as much as other places. We're not sure where the money is coming from and where it's going.
Hey, Let it drift it's all in fun. My first real job was in OKC building oil rigs as a welder, then the oil field shut down, and it was either Mcdonalds or the Army.
Oooh - Ick! This is why I live up north. I've never been snake-hater, but one of those hanging around could change my mind.
