In the 2010 Prius Warranty and Maintenance Guide on page 24 and 25 Pennsylvania and Washington state get lessor extended warranties than the other CARB states listed. Any one know why this is like this? Are they partial CARB states?
While I don't know the full story, I blame my Legislature for doing a half-baked job. Which is normal for them.
Same goes for Pa. They just got around to passing the state budget 100 or so days late. The whole government in Pa. should be replaced, starting with the governor.
Hey that's a GREAT idea! And then they can have a table where you can bet when you 12v. battery will die LOL.:mod:
I just got the following response from Toyota: Dear Mr. , Congratulations on the purchase of your 2010 Prius! We appreciate that opportunity to address your inquiry on the California Emissions Warranty for your 2010 Prius. Although both Washington and Pennsylvania adopted the California Emissions, both states have not adopted the Partial Zero Emissions, which is why the coverage in both states is 7 years (84 months) or 70,000 miles.
