Hello, KK6PD La Cresenta A. Been icensed since '90. On the air since 66 with CB then a break fo college, after that more CB, but thse DAMN Trucker movies really ruined that for me!! Had a buddy in high school who had a Model 43 teletype. The moment I saw that thing run I was hooked. I LOVE Digital xmsn modes. Spend a lot of time scanning satellites, finding other signals that are out there just waiting to be decoded!!! I am an Engineer at ABC-TV Network in Hollywood. Its the origination point for West Coast and Mountain programing. We also do tape General Hosital, and film Greys Anatomy at our facility! Gotta Run de Pat KK6PD

Hi there, I am using a "Blend Mount" Kit ment for a scanguage. My antenna is a Diamond 2m/440 whip, using a Diamond K-400 mount. It grabs the hatch nicely. I drilled a small hole to route the cable into the hatchback, from there I followed the factory wiring channel to get to the radio end.The radio body is located in the left rear pocket!
Do you run in any issues with Toyota voiding the warranty etc for mounting an amateur radio in the Prius?
