I am really concerned about the quality control of the Prius. I have a black V and I have color differences in the paint also. I have something under the clear coat on the roof on both sides that looks like something left from the white plastic that was on the car in transport. I cringe at the thought that they will have to repaint the car. My bumper is off color to the metal panels too. I figure that for 32K one should not complain? I finally could not wait for white because of interior color availability so we decided to go with black with the misty gray interior. Ya can't see the black while driving so I pretend that my car is white. When I get out it is like getting out of my Black Lexus GS. ps( I remember way back (1978) when I special ordered a Buick Regal in white. After waiting for ever, it arrived at the dealership with three shade of white. I did not purchase that car. Thank you GM)
