I did one of the site members here a favor this afternoon. On I90 just east of Wisconsin Dells. Tan Prius was stuck in the median. I stopped hooked an pulled him out got him back on the road. It had a priuschat sticker on the back window
Can you give us a really short description of the road conditions? Did you get any idea how much of the problem was caused by car vs. tires vs. driver? I'd also be interested in model year (to judge the Traction Control version) and whether it had VSC, but that is far more detail than Good Samaritans are like to collect while assisting.
It was pretty new I would say 08 at the oldest. The interstate itself was excellent. The shoulder had some icy spots. What he said happened is he had hit the shoulder for about a second and ended up in the median. Said it felt like the vehicle locked up when he hit the ice patch
Thanks bloke, we need more people on this earth willing to lend a hand like you. Although I have a Prius Chat sticker on my car I didn't drive it today and it wasn't within 12,000 miles of I90.
I'll add my thanks to the list Dave, if I ever run off the road I hope there is someone like you around to help.
