Hi Everyone: I'm new on this site. Could anyone show me step by step of how to fix my 05's fob? My fob was recently out of battery, so I changed a new battery. ( no problem with it ). However, after I insert the new battery in it, my car start beep/horn non-stop, unless I press " Alarm " several time, or insert fob and start engine, but the beep/horn will eventually come back, and it's very annoying, and it's keep blinking red flash on the fob. 2nd, after non beep/horn, the fob is not working at at, it won't let me lock or un-lock the door, and no red flash blinking at all. Please help me, I felt so sorry for all the neighboors. Thank you
It sounds like the Panic button (smaller red button on back of fob) is stuck down. I would take the battery out again, look for what might be holding the Panic button down, and try again.
