I think the figure for auto-related deaths last year was 36,000. Simply by sales volume.. GM vehicles should be involved in about 10,000 of those ( always the most vehicles sold ) Ford vehicles should be involved in about 8,000 of those ( higher volume sales in past years ) Toyota vehicles should be involved in about 6,000 of those . . . . Lamborghini vehicles...??

I know what the problem is - Brake Shoes! Not on the car, on the driver. He was wearing running shoes with a low coefficient of friction heel when his foot slipped off the brake pedal and hit the gas. I can see it now, a recall on millions of pairs of running shoes (right foot only)... Keith
