Someone suggested the leather console covers from Prius Hoods. So, I just put one on. It looks great and will be much easier to clean than that fuzzy original console. The installation is simple and takes about 3-5 minutes AT MOST if you follow instructions. However, if you are like me, you don't follow instructions. For some reason I thought I had to remove the console cover from the car. I took out all the screws under the cover, dropped and lost two of them in the process. Despite all screws being out, cover was very wobbly, but would not budge off the console. And, then the fuzzy felt stuff started to come loose from under the cover. I looked at the install instructions, realized my mistake, searched with a headlamp and my retriever dog by my side for about 25 minutes and finally found both missing screws. Reinstalled said screws. And then spent about 3 minutes putting the leather cover on. It's not especially cheap, but it is good looking!!
I think the leather center console cover looks great too, especially if you get it in black. Here's what it looks like in usbseawolf2000's Bisque interior (he also reupholstered the door arm covers in the black leather, and added some wood trim): [IMGLINK]http://priuschat.com/forums/attachments/gen-ii-prius-modifications/14086d1239764744-woodtrim-17-rims-woodtrim.jpg[/IMGLINK] And here's what it looks like in my Dark Gray interior: [IMGLINK]http://priuschat.com/forums/attachments/gen-iii-2010-prius-accessories-modifications/20193d1259805465-sheepskin-seat-covers-033.jpg[/IMGLINK]
