South Korean iPhone users turn to sausages as a cold weather 'meat stylus' -- Engadget For those who don't know... capacitive touch screens like those on the iPhone won't work w/a regular pointy stylus nor will they work if thru gloves. So (as mentioned in the article), people have invented goofy capacitive touchscreen styluses. Or... you can apparently use certain sausages instead. When I went to South Korea, the iPhone wasn't available there yet and it wasn't very cold. Right now it's in the 20 to 35 F range...
We don`t live in Korea, but I am finding this kind of funny as my son is eating a sausage like that right now. They`re made of fish... and I never would have imagined they would work as a "fake finger". I`ll have to try that sometime. (Not on an iPhone though...)
Is it bad that when i first saw this thread the first thing i thought of was this joke from the jokes thread?
