Prince Charles buys a Prius "TCC is reporting that the Prince of Wales has purchased a Prius, adding it to his extensive collection of automobiles. Unfortunately the official website of Prince Charles doesn’t have a gallery devoted to his garage (bonus points to whoever can find a list of his vehicles), so we don’t know how cool his collection actually is. What’s up with that? The Prius, however, is exempt from expensive city road tolls in London due to its status as a green vehicle, so at least the Prince can save a few pounds on his way to work in the morning. A Royal purchasing a Prius, however, seems more like a PR move than a genuine green gesture. He’s still not as cool as his mum who’s kicking it with an iPod now. "
8) Anybody named "Charles" can't be ALL bad. That being said... Hmmmm... Can't help but wonder if he "paid" for his Prius or Toyota "presented" it to gain the publicity.
