..and Mr. Kevin Haggerty, who's run-away 2007 Toyota Avalon which almost killed him got a brand new Hyundai Sonata recently, free of charge, courtesy of Flemington Hyundai. Mr Toyoda san certainly will be in for some interesting time.
I hope someone's hooking up every instrument and datalogger they can get their hands on to Haggerty's old vehicle in an effort to find out what's really going on with it. . _H*
Sadly, no. The Toyota dealership was advised to replace pretty much the whole accelerator and throttle system. The news reports did not tell us what happened to the old parts. Haggerty later reported the intermittent accelerations ceased. Bob Wilson
