    Hello,

During a recent car wash I was told that the spots on my front end are hard water stains, and that it requires an 'acid wash' to treat. They also said that some people have luck with lemons. Does anyone have any experience with this? I have a brand new tideland pearl and I'm just disgusted by this. We live an a apartment and the sprinklers are too close to my parking spot. We've tried parking farther back, but I don't see a solution to this problem. Can anyone tell me what they do for hard water spots? Anything that can be done regularly if necessary?

    Thanks all in advance!

The BEST WAY is to CLAY BAR. This will remove pretty much ANYTHING on your paint without damaging it. I'd try the Zaino clay bar, but the Meguiers or Mothers (found in any auto shop) will do the trick too.

HIGHLY recommend that you try this. $10-17

edit: You will also need to WAX the areas that you clay bar (because it removes a lot of durable protectants). I'd definetely recommend Zaino, but a moderate wax (Meguiers, Mothers) will also work.
